Dance has been used from the beginning of time to process emotions, whether preparing for war, celebrating a birth, in spiritual/religious centers, etc. With Govindi's background in dance and fitness, she discovered the movement that brought about the most inspiration and awakening was minimally guided, focusing more on the individual needs and intuition. By connecting the music to the emotion, she gets you in touch with what your body is yearning to release, process or experience leaving you feeling lighter, more connected and a natural high like no other. Dance therapy is typically done in a group setting and blind folds may be used on occassion.
